Privacy notice

Malaakso aims to collect as little personal data as practical for this website and the BidScout service.

Information you choose to provide

If you email us, we receive the information contained in your message and normal email metadata. If you subscribe to BidScout, payment information is processed through Stripe's hosted checkout. Malaakso does not receive or store full payment-card numbers through this website.

Public business information

BidScout may use lawful public information about businesses and public procurement notices to research opportunity fit. This can include business contact details publicly presented for commercial inquiries, public capabilities, registrations, certifications, award notices and procurement records. We do not intentionally use protected personal characteristics to make opportunity-matching decisions.

Technical information

The site itself uses no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies in this build. Our hosting provider may process routine technical logs such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and requested pages for security and service operation.

Payments

When you follow a Stripe checkout link, Stripe processes your payment under its own privacy terms and security controls. During any security incident, Malaakso may temporarily restrict Stripe activity while continuing read-only monitoring.

Why we process information

We use information to provide requested services, respond to inquiries, operate subscription and procurement-alert workflows, prevent abuse, honor opt-outs, maintain business records and comply with applicable obligations.

Retention

We keep business correspondence and operational records only as long as reasonably needed for the service, legal obligations, dispute handling, security, suppression of opted-out addresses and legitimate business records.

Your choices

You can ask about, correct or request deletion of information you provided where applicable. For marketing/outreach opt-out, reply to any Malaakso message with an opt-out request or email sales@malaakso.com with subject "Unsubscribe". Suppression information may be retained so we do not contact you again.
